About

Knutsford Heritage Centre is the gateway to the town’s history, set in the heart of Knutsford in a reconstructed 17th-century timber-framed building on King Street.

Run entirely by volunteers, the Centre has two galleries, two lovely courtyard gardens and a well-stocked gift shop. It is also the home of the famous Knutsford Millennium Tapestry — set in three panels, more than 13 metres long and created by over 3,000 local residents to celebrate the millennium year of 2000.

Along with an ever-changing exhibition programme, walks, talks and other activities, there’s plenty to see — so come along and explore the charm of the Centre and the town.
